About a month or so ago I was approached by a stylist. She claimed she was working with Cindy Blackman (who just so happens to be married to Santana!) and that she was styling her for a commercial that would air on ESPN before Monday Night Football games for the next three years. She'd be performing alongside none other than Chris Stapleton! At first I had some apprehension due to the fact that I have aspiring influencers messaging me asking for free jewelry All. The. Time. I decided I'd dig a bit deeper and vetted the stylist as best I could. I checked out her website, clicked through who she tagged/worked with in past posts on Instagram. Everything seemed to check out. I decided I'd take the "risk" and send out a few samples. I didn't go out of my way to make anything for the items I sent. I couldn't justify it with the even ever so slight incling in the back of my head it COULD be a scam. I sent out some pre-made show stock and sure enough a few days later the stylist reached out letting me know that Cindy & her chose two pairs of earrings to feature in the commercial. She paid me for them and then shipped everything they didn't use back very promptly. Flash forward to holding all this info in for the following weeks (couldn't brag about it until the commercial aired on September 14, 2026). I got a small group of friends together to go out and see the debut of the commercial. Since I don't have cable I figured it'd be best to go out to a place that had ESPN playing. Well bigger isn't always better, ESPN in my area did NOT air the commercial. It only aired on our local ABC station. So me and my little group of cheerleaders celebrated regardless and eventually my phone blew up with enough people's screenshots and recordings of the commercial. Lucky for me it will air again the next coming MNF games, but it's also available to view on Youtube. Here is a link to a behind the scenes clip. I can't exactly say this was my big break (yet), but boy will I tell ya it brought tears to my eyes the first time I saw the backstage footage from the stylist. I have a very hard time showing my self confidence when it comes to what I'm doing with this business. I'm working on it every day. Holding my head up higher and higher with each accomplishment, each market and each bit of support from my customers, family, friends and other half. I'm so extremely proud to share this moment with all of you, and I can't wait for the next. Planning to finish 2026 stronger then ever, both as a person and as a business. If you've read this far, thanks. I appreciate it. <3 Emily
